Feeding Directions

  •  Always seek the advice of your local Ridley AgriProducts Territory Manager for assistance with formulating a balanced feed ration. Phone 1300 666 657
  • Ensure pasture or palatable roughage is available to appetite, along with ample clean water.
  •  Blend 8% (80kg per tonne) 8% Grain Balancer Pellet with cereal grain to produce a balanced ration.
  • Roughage will need to be added to the diet or available to appetite to produce a balanced diet.
  • Where cereal protein levels are inadequate, other protein meals will need to be added to the mix to produce a balanced ration.
  • As a total feedlot ration, grain and 8% Grain Balancer Pellet may be fed to sheep and cattle, through a self-feeder provided roughage is available to appetite. In this situation ensure that slides on the self -feeders are closed sufficiently to ensure that stock must nibble or lick the ration from under the slides, rather than gorge themselves.
  • If intake cannot be limited sufficiently due to the self-feeder design, roughage must be added to the ration.

  • The exact composition of a balanced ration will change according to the livestock class and the nutritional characteristics of the raw materials being used.
  • Seek the advise of a Ridley AgriProducts representative. Telephone 1300 666 657 for assistance.
  • Grain or Pulses (Lupins, Beans and Peas) should be coarsely cracked for cattle.
  • Wheat, Barley, Oats and Triticale can be fed whole to sheep. Sheep may benefit from coarsely cracking the grain to prevent sorting. Pulses (Lupins, Beans and Peas) can be fed whole, but sheep will often benefit from these being coarsely cracked also, as it reduces the risk of the diet becoming segregated after mixing.
  • Supastok 8% Grain Balancer Pellet does not contain added copper (Cu). This is due to the risk of Copper toxicity in some areas. In areas of known copper deficiency, or where stock are being fed a total ration for greater than 100 days, additional copper supplementation may be required; consult your veterinarian for advice.
  • Supastock 8% Grain Balancer Pellet does not contain any urine acidifying agents; Talk to your local veterinarian about the likelihood of urinary calculi in lambs, in your region.

WARNING This preparation contains urea, which can be poisonous if eaten in excessive quantities or too quickly. DO NOT FEED THIS PRODUCT DIRECTLY TO STOCK.
