Andre was raised on his parents beef farm in South Africa. After obtaining his degree in 1991 his first role was as a mill manager and nutritionist for a small integrated pork operation Delsma Farms near Cape Town. He then moved closer to home and managed a 500-cow dairy farm for 3 years before deciding to pursue his nutrition career further in Australia. He initially worked as a nutrition consultant with Best-fed Nutrition for three and a half years. He then took on the role of senior nutritionist with Pivot before joining Ridley AgriProducts as their Dairy Services Manager in 2001.

Industry Experience

Caroline joined the Ridley Team in March 2005. Her role is to provide nutrition advice and support to dairy customers and employees. Caroline grew up working on various sheep, beef and dairy enterprises.

A highlight in her career was working in Ohio, USA for 2004 to complete study and research in endophytes in Tall Fescue pastures.

Industry Experience

David grew up on his family dairy farm and spent 12 months working in the AI Industry inseminating, freeze branding cows and dehorning calves during college before working for 16 months on a large scale cropping and stud merino enterprise in Western Australia. David has been working at Ridley for almost 5 years starting in the role of territory management before heading down the technical path 2 years ago and joining the dairy technical services team covering technical services from Adelaide to Geelong.

Industry Experience   

Following an honours degree in animal science and postgraduate research in nutrition (protein digestion in ruminants), Tim worked in the UK as a consultant nutritionist (12 years) specialising in dairy, beef and sheep nutrition. He then worked for Associated British Nutrition (ABN) as Ruminant Technical and Marketing Manager for 6 years. He moved to Australia in 2002 to work for Ridley AgriProducts as Dairy Technical Manager and since 2004 has been the Ruminant Technical Manager.
