Barastoc Legend is a versatile feed that provides all the minerals, vitamins and protein quality required for breeding and growing horses in a small daily allowance.
As an oats-free feed Barastoc Legend allows you to add your own grain if required, but it can also be used alone with chaff if no extra grain is needed. This gives you the flexibility to control weight gain and body weight without sacrificing mineral and protein nutrition.
Barastoc Legend contains a blend of processed grains that is designed to complement oats.
Added oil helps give horses a shiny coat and more energy per kilo, and yeast culture assists in the digestion of fibre.
Barastoc Legend is also extra palatable, so you can also look forward to horses ‘cleaning-up’.
Highly versatile, Barastoc Legend can be used for mares, stallions, young horses (including sales preparation horses), and spellers.

The following recommendations are intended as a guide only. The amount fed will vary according to the horses condition and the quality of pasture and/or roughage available. Barastoc Legend should be used to supplement grazing and/or high quality roughage to not more than one half of the horses daily feed intake by weight. Introduce this product gradually over a 2 week period. Intakes less that the levels listed may require additional vitamin and mineral supplementation. Do not feed more than 1.5 kgs of this product per meal.
